»I know that the DIGITALISATION of entities is the smallest possible common denominator for mapping the world in a way that can preserve all real relationships and communications. For 30 years, we have been building, developing and testing such a model in practice. We have grown with it, and every new insight has made us richer in knowledge and better at what we do. We are convinced, and we believe we are doing the right thing.«

Boris Bezlaj · statement from the turn of the millennium

The first sentence of this statement was written around 2000 – before Google Maps and before smartphones. It was not a commentary on existing solutions, because they did not yet exist; it anticipated the requirements that any serious mapping of the world would have to meet.

It arose from an insight that ran counter to the prevailing school of data modelling. After a decade of systems engineering and working with Oracle's CASE methodology, one thing became clear: the world cannot be mapped with entity-relationship diagrams, because an entity is not what we see, but its smallest constituent part. Mapping therefore does not begin by drawing a map, but by identifying points that have digitalisation value and a location of their own.

This axiom gave rise to a third layer of space: the information layer, in which every geo-point carries meaning, a source and a custodian. A map shows where something is. The information layer explains what it means and where to go next. View the full presentation

Digitalisation you manage yourself

We create every website as an information hub: a foundation with a complete visual identity, domain and email, plus buttons and modules that you add using a LEGO-style approach. You manage the content yourself through the self-service admin portal, without a developer. Whenever you need more, we simply add another module: e-News, e-Catalogue, e-Gallery, e-Communicator or an online shop.

Geo Index KAM

Visitors to a destination always ask the same question: where next? Geo Index KAM answers with a spatial information layer for the local offering: geo-points on a map, QR access points in the field, categories and visitor analytics. It allows municipalities and tourism destinations to present their offering exactly where the visitor is standing. The figures below are live: they come from our analytics and are updated daily.

For municipalities, tourism and businesses

  • Municipalities: public information, events, tourism offerings and geo-content in one place, with connections to destination portals.
  • Tourism: digitalisation of local providers, e-Brochures, themed routes and maps that guide visitors to the available offering.
  • Businesses: a website with a catalogue, enquiries and customer updates that you can maintain yourself.

More than 30 years of in-house development

We have been developing our own Oracle database information system since 1989. We understand every part of the technology, your data remains yours, and we maintain and upgrade the solutions ourselves without depending on third-party platforms. Alongside development, we also manage servers, network security and the protection of our customers' data.
